Through palliative care, our goal is to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families who are facing a life-threatening illness. We strive to prevent and relieve pain and debilitating symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath and loss of appetite. Palliative care can be provided at any time during an illness, and can be administered at the same time as a curative treatment.
