Superior’s 25th Year – Continuing the Celebration!
You’ve probably heard the phrase “You’ve come a long way, baby”…..and that is exactly how to describe how much our world has changed since Superior was established back in February of 2002.
Looking back from 2002 until now, what things do we take for granted now that weren’t even invented the year we opened our doors?
- WiFi
- GPS
- Flatscreen TV’s
- Smartphones
- App Stores – which means there were not apps back then!
- Netflix, and other High-Speed streaming internet-based platforms
- Online bill paying or paying anything thru a mobile device like Apple pay
- Smartwatches and wearable fitness trackers
- The “cloud” as a storage option for data

Anniversaries
We have no June anniversaries! Hard to believe….but it’s true. Everyone is too busy going on vacation to start a new job!
Maybe we can make some history this month and hire a few great caregivers!

Congratulations to our Quarter 1 high achievers! Staff below scored 4 out of 5 Stars for our first measuring period of this year. Each caregiver has earned a bonus equal to 4% of their total pay earned from January thru March. Just in time for some summer vacation cash!

Our Star Rating scorecard consists of 5 performance standards which are measured one quarter at a time.
The Standards are:
- Working at least 80% of stated Availability
- Reliability – no more than 3 Call offs in the quarter
- Compliance – with maintaining credentials and training
- Professionalism – client satisfaction and new trainings completed
- Over the Bar Effort – complete at least one of the following – refer someone who is hired, volunteer for one of our caregiver-led committees, pick up 8 fill shifts for the quarter
This year, we also introduced a new initiative to showcase and reward our most tenured staff who also are consistently high-performers – our Circles of Excellence.
We have 3 levels of recognition, based on a caregiver’s tenure with us and each level earns special, enhanced benefits as long as at least 4 Stars are each quarter.
